IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF ERNEST HEMINGWAY

Set forth with us in the footsteps of the famous american writer Ernest Hemingway whose life and work is close-knit with his stay in Cuba. Together we will visit hotel where he used to live and work and where he enjoyed local revels. We will visit his museum and have a lunch in the port near where his boat used to anchor. Did you know that the famous Daiquiri cocktail was originally created thanks to Hemingway himself?

• 09:30 – departure from the hotel for an excursion
• 10:00 – visit of the Finca Vigia museum – the only house that Hemingway had outside the USA. This museum remained unchanged, in the state that the writer himself left it in the year 1960.
• 11:30 – visit of the fishing village Cojimar where his friend used to live and where Hemingway anchored his boat. Here he took inspiration and eventually wrote his famous work „The Old Man and the Sea“.
• 12:00 – lunch in the near restaurant in Cojimar
• 13:45 – visit of the Ambos Mundos hotel with the tasting of Mojito cocktail
• 14:30 – visit of Hemingway’s favorite bar Floridita with the option of buying the best Daiquiri which was created especially for Hemingway
• 15:30 – return back to hotel
